Project Overview
The Moshi Bypass was designed and constructed to address traffic congestion in Moshi town by diverting heavy and transit traffic away from the central business district. The project included major earthworks, asphalt paving with modern surfacing technology, and the installation of clear, durable traffic signage. The bypass not only eased urban congestion but also improved regional connectivity, reduced travel delays, and contributed to safer and more efficient movement of goods and people. This infrastructure plays a key role in supporting Moshi’s growing role as a commercial and tourist hub near Kilimanjaro.
