Project Overview
This project focused on restoring a vital district road in Mbeya that serves as a lifeline for local communities. The works involved intensive road grading to smoothen and stabilize the surface, alongside the installation of new culverts to improve stormwater management and prevent erosion. By enhancing the road’s condition, transport reliability and safety were significantly improved, reducing travel time and ensuring farmers and traders can access markets more efficiently. The project also increased all-weather road usability, which is essential for education, healthcare access, and regional trade.
