Project Overview
This project targeted the critical Dodoma–Chamwino road, which had deteriorated over time and was affecting mobility for local communities. The rehabilitation works included gravel grading to provide a more stable surface, replacement of old culverts with durable structures to withstand heavy rains, and reinforcement of the roadbed for long-term resilience. The improved road significantly enhanced transport safety, supported local trade activities, and ensured uninterrupted access to Dodoma, the country’s capital for both commuters and goods transport.
